HEADPRESS Biography
Headpress are a four piece extreme metal band from Stoke-on-Trent, taking influences from various 'metal' genres the band have created a fusion of different styles incorporating strong elements of extreme, death metal, and hardcore whilst maintaining the groove and heaviness of more traditional metal.
The bands latest EP and best effort to date 'Image of Atrocity' has been well received within the underground music scene and seeing the release of their first official music video 'Watch Like Cowards'.
Reviews:
- The band have taken their biggest influences and channeled it into four tracks of sheer chaos.
- If the band can keep the momentum flowing then surely the Stoke-on-Trent savages will be a force to be reckoned with.
Review of 'Image of Atrocity' EP.: James Weaver, Distorted Sound Magazine
Headpress arrived to deliver a six song set of gut wrenchingly heavy songs;
Filled the venue with a wall of Biohazard like hardcore brutality.
Live review BOA: M2M Final: Dennis Jarman, Planet Mosh
- Sounding utterly crushing they shake the entire venue with the massive low-end backbone;
As they finish and everyone tries to figure out what just happened, there are three words the consistently crop up; 'HEAVY AS FUCK'. 9/10
Live Review supporting Continents: Eddie Sims, Distorted Sound Website Review
