Trailer Queen Biography
Brea Burns and The Boleros are a Classic Country/Honky Tonk band based in Phoenix, Arizona, founded by singer/songwriter Brea Burns. Backed by some of the best Classic Country and Rockabilly musicians the city has to offer, Brea and her band have become a prominent force in the Arizona Country music scene. Originally hailing from Southern California, music was a part of Brea's life from the start. Her father was a 35 year veteran in the record label industry, and her mother a songwriter and musician, giving Brea a unique perspective of both the business and creative side of music. The family moved to Nashville, Tennessee when she was 14, and it is there that the rich history of Country Music began to shape the direction she would go with her own songwriting and performing. Brea's sound is reminiscent of Country greats such as Loretta Lynn, George Jones, Wanda Jackson, and the like; with a modern edge that captivates young and old fans alike. Currently residing in Phoenix, Arizona, Brea and her band have shared the stage with many established Country and roots artists, including Billy Joe Shaver, Dale Watson, Wayne Hancock, Junior Brown, and Big Sandy and his Fly-rite Boys among others.
