Wishbone Zoe Biography
WZ is the auditory/visual experimental art project conceptualized and actualized by songwriter and composer Saera K. She co-produced and released her first album and companion graphic libretto “All of These Oddities” in 2014 and self-produced a sophomore full length "Fossil's Dream" in 2016. In 2017 she released an experimental auditory-collage album under the moniker Pegasus Capricorn called "Seahorse Pagoda Boat". She works as a sound engineer and producer, a freelance writer and visual artist, and booker in Western Massachusetts, where the trees grow spiny and in dense syrupy knots. In the past, Wishbone Zoe has shared bills with the likes of The Suitcase Junket, Arc Iris, And The Kids, Bella's Bartok, Heather Maloney, Girl in A Coma, Rushad Eggleston, Peter Mulvey, Kristen Ford, The Leafies You Gave Me, Daniel Ouellette, Lexi Weege, Pocket Vinyl, Kaki King, and Lydia Loveless. WZ has played rooms regionally and nationally since 2011 and has played such festivals as Melodica Fest USA (NY), Wind Up Fest (MA) and True/False Film Fest(MO). She has offered bass, vocals, accordion, banjo and textural sounds to shows and tours with Big Fred, Bella's Bartok, Peter Mulvey's Crumbling Beauties and others. Her visual art has hung in various rooms and spaces in Massachusetts and has been published by such journals as Meat For Tea, her sculpted creatures can be seen as part of Bella's Bartok's live show, and she has independently released herself a mini coloring book and a graphic libretto accompanying her first album. WZ only ever hopes to inspire alacrity in your brain pets and influence your children.
