Lucky Bastardz

Lucky BastardZ (LBZ) is an Italian hard rock/metal band from Alexandria, formed in 2008. Geppo, founder member and first singer, asked Paco (ex-Secret Sphere rythm guitarist) if he would like to play in a rock'n'roll band with him, so the two bastardz began the research of members to complete the line-up. The first one was: Geppo: Voice, Paco: Guitar, Evan L.A.: Bass and Pippo: Drums. They started to play in very small venues just for 15 minutes, then they recorded two tracks for the demo, those were: LBZ Truth and Devil Cum. Summer 2008 - The Demo opened the doors of many and many venues around the northern Italy, they played in a historic club called Thunder Road and they opened act for Adam Bomb. Pippo left the band on autumn of that year. Mr. Immorale has taken over his place on the drums, but after only two months he had to left the band for his business-working. December 2008 - The Bastardz gang hired MARK on the drums and they increased the Live performances. More and more gigs didn't stop these men to write new and rough stuff, they were sure to record an album before the summer. And so it was. After many very important shows (open act and supporting for Hardcore Superstar, Pino Scotto, Crucified Barbara, Innocent Rosie, Strana Officina) a swedish label, the Swedmetal Records, chose to hire the band. September 2009 - The label released the first Lucky Bastardz album called "HATED FOR WHO WE ARE". The reviews on magazines were very good and the crowd was growing every gigs, they were playing in Italy and some places in Germany. The band were really happy and satisfied. March 2010 - The Bass player Evan L.A. left the band for personal reasons. The band hired the bass player of the Mark's Dream Theater tribute band, "Miracle & Sleepers". The man's called Mr. TNT. These two musicians knows each other so well and this makes more gain to the level of the band, who makes sparks on stage. At the end of the season, there will be more than 100 gigs in just 2 years, they played supporting Onkel Tom Angelripper and Crashdiet. Even in this case, they take care of the composition side of the job, and they wrote new songs during the breaks between every shows. They left their swedish label and the second album will be released by an Italian label, Red Pony, and distribuited by Audioglobe. After two months in pre-production, the band went to the studio on July 2010 and they finished the session in just one month later, because they've got more experience and the ideas were more clearer than never. November 2010 - It's time to release the second chapter, called "BITE ME, DUDE". The album works, the new line-up works so good and it cames the time to play in more stages possible bringing new songs to the people. After a lot of gigs supporting Pino Scotto, he becames a close friend of the band, he ask them to come in his tv program, Database on Rock Tv, to present the first vdeoclip ("Sin City"), it will be officially released on March 2011 on Pino Scotto's TV program, with Geppo and Paco as special guests of the show. On Summer 2011 they were guest in a lot of summer festival like: "A.live Rock Festival" in Barletta with Ektomorff and other band, "Metal Valley Open Air" with Deicide, Belphegor, Strana Officina and Skanners, "Rock Inn Somma" and "Machete Fest". December 2012 - The former member Geppo and Lucky Bastardz took separate ways. The decision was made by mutual agreement at the end of a long series of discussions that took place during the last year. Disagreements, mostly concerning the artistic direction of the band, were too many, as it was evident the impossibility of finding a compromise that all parties contented. May 2013 - Lucky Bastardz has a new singer. After a long series of auditions, which took place during the first months of the year, the line-up is finally complete: the new member is TITIAN. The first show with the new line-up is 'Langhe Rock Festival 2013'. 2013-2014 - It's time for the first mini-tour, Lucky Bastardz goes to Latvia for a couples of shows. During the production of the third album, the band opened the Italian show for legendary thrash metal band ANTHRAX. January 2014 - The new album "Alwayz On The Run" is finally OUT, after a deal signed with the label Sleaszy Rider Records. LBZ official Facebook page Third Album "Alwayz On The Run" out NOW
