DOWNBEAT KEYS are a band from Brooklyn, NY. The group is tearing through the New York music scene with their catchy songs and electric shows. Their urban pop sound draws from hip-hop, rock, funk, and soul influences. DownBeat Keys (DBK) formed at Hamilton College. Since moving to NYC the group has been turning heads, sharing the stage with artists from Passion Pit to Future to Bon Jovi. DBK recently rocked showcases at SXSW, The New Music Seminar, and CMJ, had their single “Lonely,” featured on an MTV Spring Break commercial, and played the MS&K Grammy Party in Los Angeles. Their new singles, “Final Round” and “Overboard” were mixed by Grammy-award winner James “Bonzai” Caruso (Notorious B.I.G., Damian Marley) and produced by Rob Guariglia (Oh Honey). “There’s something infectious about both the band’s sound and its personality.
