The Loom

The Loom is a band from Brooklyn that has been called a “Next Big Thing” by the New York Times, “Best of What’s Next” by Paste, and a "World Cafe Next" band by WXPN. Daytrotter writes that The Loom “makes us believe that they’re the fathers and mothers of our cold and jagged memories, those that may or may not even be our memories for they feel so distant," while the New Yorker writes that, “Beloved Brooklyn band The Loom...have lately been guiding their...sound to decidedly louder sonic territory.” Since releasing their debut album “Teeth," they have toured extensively in the United States and Canada and as far away as Poland. Currently, the band is completing their second album with producer Kevin McMahon (Titus Andronicus, Real Estate) at Marcata Recording in upstate New York. As long as we're looking we're not lost.
