Tyler James as Elvis and The Memphis Experience

Tyler James was born on January 31st 1988 in Fort Smith Arkansas. His love for Elvis started at the young age of 5. Tyler started performing at 15 years of age when he entered his first contest. He continued to perform and took his act to Branson, Mo when he was only still in high school where he was the star of the Elvis Showcase the "Hillbilly Kat and Beyond". After his run in Branson he returned to Fort Smith to finish high school where he graduated and attended college for computer technology.

Tyler realized his true passion was performing and after taking some time off returned to the stage to pursue his dream. It paid off. With alot of sacrifices and hard work his dream became reality. He entered the Ultimate Elvis Contest on Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas, NV. He was approached by the Director of Entertainment and is now the Official Elvis of Fremont Street Experience. He performs before thousands of people each week. Tyler is living the dream!

His career on Fremont Street has allowed him many opportunities. He has opened for several national acts including Sister Hazel and Tonic as well as the Presidents of the United States.

Tyler is married to Elissa James with 2 step children Colton and Brittney.

Tyler was interviewed as a teenager and was asked what he would like to do with is act, his response was "My dream is to have my own show in Las Vegas"
