AGONY WITHIN

AGONY WITHIN is not your typical metal band. Definitly agressive but, well rounded musically to project their stories through sound to give the listener a visual. Created by brothers vocals/guitarist: Cenovio and drummer: Peter Thomas in 1992 started writting music drawn from their creative writtings and art work and locked it in to a metal style of music. Influenced by bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden,Rush, and Dio ect..Who were shown to them by their Father and his band, gave them more of drive to grow artisticly in a world filled with metal with acts like Megadeth, Cannible Corpse, and any extreme metal. Cenovio had a very strong love for classical music from composers such as Paganini, Beethoven, and Bach decided to envolve these influences into their style of Music. Peter Thomas drew from all elaments music always creating on the drums as if to tell a story only through beats, and learning from the greats like Buddy Rich, Neil Peart, and many Rock/Metal drummers. His desire for the drums gave him a great ear for music and producing in the studio. As many bands do they went from bass player to bass players for many years through their artistic struggles and finally land a deal with Brent McMahn. Brent has been with the band since 2005 and who is very musically inclined as well as drawing from punk, metal, and progressive music influences gave him the edge and instant click with the band. The band has been in and out of studio's recording demo's and writting music in general. Presenting a Dark,Progressive feel for their Metal writting and creations, AGONY WITHIN will continue to leave a trail of musical incantations and bring their music to the world. AGONY WITHIN in all it's Metal form.
