Geena Renee Music

Geena Renee is a 20 year old indie-alternative singer / songwriter from New Jersey. First picking up the violin at the age of seven, she became so passionate about her classical training that she decided to take her music to the next level, teaching herself the piano and guitar at the age of ten. She has been writing songs ever since. Inspired by artists like Andrew Bird, Regina Spektor and Radiohead, Geena has morphed genres to develop a style all her own that speaks to listeners about overcoming adversity and celebrating the high moments of life. At such a young age, she has already played iconic venues on the east coast, including New York City’s The Bitter End and Highline Ballroom. At the age of 17, she independently released her EP "The Storm Shook the Solid Ground," and by 19, released her debut full-length album, "Ayla's Diary," which is available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and Bandcamp now. A 21 year-old singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who writes songs that make you feel things you don't want to feel. Somehow it still feels good.
