When darkness covered the land in awful pop manufactured waste, hope for the world of music came from the unlikely city of Glasgow. Four young men, whose destiny it was to save listeners from the pile of mounting rubbish that was being blasted at them morning, noon and night. Refusing to accept that this was as good as it was going to get, they picked up their weapons and fought back, creating a sound that captured the imagination of all those who heard their battle cries.
