Who's Playing At The Bronze Tonight present Slayerfest '98 (2015 edition)Of course Sunnydale provides the best Halloween parties... Not counting evil costume shopkeepers, getting trapped in a frat house or dating a vampire! So come along, dance to some SPOOKY bands (maybe performing the odd SPOOKY cover...), play Pin The Stake On The Terrible Boyfriend and then dance all night to Bad Reputation DJs (back together Once More With (all the) Feelings). More STUFF to be announced as, well, it's thought of! Playing live (undead) - The Potentials - from Sunnydale High via London, The Potentials play feminist and queer songs (and yes, one about Cibo Matto too) dealing with the world of Buffy. Packed full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny, expect the unexpected (and that song about Cibo Matto). Charla Fantasma - spooky riot grrrl pop songs to chill you to the booooonnnnnees. The best band to never perform at The Bronze, get your dancing legs on!!!Wolf Girl - proclaimed 'hairy, scary garage pop', it's hard to think of a more apt description! Rad dancing times to be had with the spooky kidz!!! Snob - female fronted punxx from London town. Pissed off and proud, so excited to have them play! Get angry!+Bad Rep DJs til 2.30am - Imagine the best party you could ever imagine, featuring (but not limited to) Daphne & Celeste, Atari Teenage Riot, Bikini Kill, Alien Ant Farm, Gwen Stefani and System Of A Down. No longer living but ressurecting themselves for a Dead Man's Party, expect carnage!!!! Doors 7.30 TBC£5Dress up if you want but don't feel you have to. Either way, don't give each other a hard time. No dickheads. This IS gonna be a safe space for queer, trans, self-defining women, POC and any other babes, misfits, weirdos or queerdos of all shapes, sizes and colours. If you try to make it anything but a safe space, you will be asked to leave. APOLOGIES but the venue is up a flight of stairs so isn't wheelchair accessible. If it happens again next year we will look to fix this!
