Spleenful

A banda Spleenful foi formada em 2012 com a proposta de fazer um som totalmente diferenciado e livre de rótulos. Apesar de ser geralmente relacionado a gêneros como o Gothic e o Dark Metal, as influências também passam pelo Black, Death e até mesmo o Prog Metal. Sinfonias obscuras sob a perspectiva da poesia maldita, do oculto e de contos de horror: elementos que constituem o universo musical criado pela Spleenful. No Halloween de 2013 a banda lançou seu EP de estreia, "Bittersweet", contendo 4 faixas que dão uma amostra da proposta trabalhada pelo grupo. Desde a primeira nota da introdução Byroniana batizada como "Beneath The Wandering Wave" até o discurso final da épica "Burleske Liebesträum (Cathexis Wicked Serenade)", retratando o drama psicótico de um crooner de cabaret, o ouvinte é levado em uma viagem sonora repleta de intervenções dramáticas. Em meio a isso ainda temos o conto vampírico da faixa-título e as alucinações poéticas retratadas no primeiro single da banda, "Absinthe Love Affairs". Despite being related to genres like Gothic and Dark Metal, the influences are also based on Black, Death and even Prog Metal. Obscure symphonies under the perpective of accursed literature, of the occult and horror tales: elements that build the musical universe of Spleenful. On 2013's Halloween, the band released the debut EP entitled "Bittersweet", containing 4 tracks that gives a sample of the proposal crafted by the group. Since the first note of the Byronic intro named as "Beneath The Wandering Wave" until the final speech of the epic "Burleske Liebesträum (Cathexis Wicked Serenade)", describing the psychotic drama of a cabaret crooner, the listener is taken on a sonic journey full of dramatic interventions. In between, there's the vampiric tale of the title track and the poetic hallucinations portrayed in the band's first single, "Absinthe Love Affairs".
