Jet Pack Invicta! Biography

Formed in the south of England during the summer of 2010, Jet Pack, Invicta! were considered a very hardworking underground Post-Punk band. Relishing their performances within their locality, these five boys became interested in their performance value, building upon aggressive music with a catchy edge. Releasing their debut E.P We Stole The Show in 2011, 'life' forced band members to focus on other projects. People in the south of England seem to be a stubborn bunch, but these songs referencing love and youth rebellion seemed to keep calling the boys back into rehearsal room. In 2013, a Jet Pack, Invicta! reformation started taking place. New members provided a new stability to their line-up, and this cult followed band once more found purpose in their music, and immediately re-releasing their debut E.P. They then began performing with England’s finest metal and punk bands, such as the St Pierre Snake Invasion, Dead Dreamers and Emp!re. Playing to a handful of fans became a thing of the past. New and larger crowds are enjoying the fresh ‘in-your-face’ antics of what JPI!, who arrogantly, and happily, call their style Brit Grit. Next year we will see the band travel the UK and Europe, promoting their third EP, Pulling Teeth, along with the guys beginning work on their debut album. Their ambitions in making a lasting contribution to Punk has not faded. The bands second release, Savage Smiles, recorded at Railside Records studio in Salisbury, UK, was twisted into a personnel and more aggressive and honest sound, which has been greeted with open arms by press and fans. Aggressive, post-punk music with a catchy edge, big hooks and walls of guitar noise.
