Space Villains* Biography
The Houston-based psychedelic electro-blues rock intergalactic trio known as the Space Villains* (pronounced Space Villains Asterisk) made their debut in the Montrose music scene in 2012. The band features Lord Kalvin Camp as the lead guitarist and vocalist, The Infamous Ches Johnson on bass guitar, keyboard and vocals, with Sir Robert Frisk on drums. The genre-bending trio’s current album Asterism, consists of eight hearty and diverse tracks with subjects ranging from computerized intercourse to social activism. The guitar-heavy tunes are complemented by a generous sprinkling of lyrical humor, surprise switch-ups and cosmic grooves that transmit pure energy through the speakers. The band has made its mark at music events all over the heart of Houston. You can find the Space Villains* performing around Houston’s most popular venues to underground warehouse parties.
