Fraîchement signé Klonosphere / Season of Mist, The Way I Am distille des compos modernes, accessibles, à fleur de peau et teintées d’influences anglaises ( Muse, Porcupine Tree, Radiohead... ) ainsi qu'américaines ( Korn, 30 seconds to mars, Flyleaf... ). Dés le printemps 2014, le groupe commence à écumer et enflammer les scènes françaises accumulant les premières parties prestigieuses (No One is Innocent, Pro Pain, Crucified Barbara, Biohazard, T.A.N.K, Zuul Fx...). En novembre 2014, la sortie de leur premier EP " Apocalypse ? No way ! " suscite un véritable engouement auprès des critiques comme du public et assoit leur status de groupe montant. Rapidement, de concerts en rencontres, de radios en plateformes d’écoute, partout le constat est le même : la machine The Way I Am est en marche !
