The Sealegs

Sacramento, CA folk-rock outfit The Sealegs, formed in late 2013, takes pages out of a variety of books while writing their original tunes. Think The Kinks, Tom Petty or Wilco, for starters. At live shows, the band thrives on strong energy and good vibes. The Sealegs line-up ranges from 8 to 4 band members per concert, but usually averages at 6 (instruments include guitar, keyboards, bass, drums, congas, viola, ukulele). In under a year, the band has made live shows the focus, including headlining & supporting performances at Sacramento-area venues like Harlows Nightclub, Old Ironsides, Marilyn’s, The Press Club, The Torch Club and a recent Concert in the Park gig with !!!, Saint Solitaire & DJ Shaun Slaughter. At present, The Sealegs are recording a debut EP titled “Slow & Steady,” slated for a late summer release to coincide with their first tour.
