Domine Nation is an independent heavy metal band from Mexico City. It was formed in December 2009 after José Luis (guitars, vocals) Azael (guitars, vocals) and Gustavo (drums) left their last projects. In March 2013, Martín joined the band proclaiming his right to be the Nation's string pounder. The recording process was made in Mexico City. The songs were mixed by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios (Opeth, Devin Townsend, Kreator, Dark Tranquillity) and mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound (Alice In Chains, Bon Jovi, Ghost B.C., Megadeth) in New York. On December 12th, 2013, the band released their debut album entitled “Titans’ Rise”. The songwriting talks about occultism, booze, girls, riots, mythology, history and personal struggles in life. Nowadays they are promoting their debut album, rehearsing in the studio back in Mexico City, producing new songs and booking events worldwide.
