What Awaits Us

What Awaits Us is a Melodic Metalcore band of five determined guys from Hämeenlinna, Finland. What Awaits Us' music is metalcore with melodic sidekicks. Being on constant dash since 2010, "WAU" has gathered hundreds of fans with their music. After publishing a demo and an EP titled “Smother What's Left” under the name of ArrorA, the band recently recorded a full length album "AWAKE" that was released November 15th 2014. What Awaits Us (Ex. ArrorA) was originally formed by guitarists Miika Pouttu and Olli Korpela in Hämeenlinna, Finland. After some time, the recent singer Jesse Sinisalo was found. Soon after Tatu Mäenpää grabbed the bass and Antti Kesseli took over the drums. Eetu Mellin replaced Antti as a drummer in October 2014. In early 2015 Miika left the band for personal reasons but rejoined the band in mid 2016. Tatu left the band due to personal reasons in late 2016 but Ville Tamminen joined in as a new bass player!
