Asyst

Asyst is one of the longest running Santa Cruz area hard rock bands; and one of its best kept secrets! Formed in 2001, the trio have a rhythm heavy sound with dark, catchy guitar melodies reinforced with melodic vocals. Asyst has only one goal; to become their own favorite band. Their longevity is due to the fact that the trio were already good friends before becoming a band, establishing a level of comfort and familiarity with each other. In fact, you can actually hear Asyst "grow up" together with the music they've released over the years. On January 1st, 2015, Asyst released their latest single "Slow Poison" available free exclusively in digital format for instant access. Asyst's previous releases, Drifting Down (2004), Destined to be Damned (2006) and Setting Sun (2011) are available in both digital and CD format. For all future releases, Asyst will be releasing new music as singles in digital form exclusively.
