SIV (the act of removing the lie from the truth, to siv through bad to find the good) A groove metal band designed for the listener. In their 3 year history SIV have constructed a very simple formula. Keep it simple. Keep it groovy and keep it heavy. Siv was created in 2013 to establish a missing part within the Northern Rivers of NSW, combining as many influences as possible to create what could be called "No Bullshit Metal". David Lang, Brett Daniel, Marc Stapelberg & David Curtis bring you a simple, in your face slab of new and old school, a simple formula of keeping the groove within the riff, allowing live shows to encapsulate what you hear an disc. SIV have moved from strength to strength with supports slots for major acts such as King Parrot, multiple awards and nominations from the Northern NSW Music Awards as well as having the honour of being the First band of its kind to be invited to play at the NCEIA Dolphin Awards (and the first to break the 100db mark!) SIV are constantly evolving, with plans undertaken to release future singles and videos as well as a constant touring schedule.
