Solaris (Official)

Solaris was born in 2015, with a genuine interest to create something distinct and innovative, that does not tie itself to any category. It's a process of discovery and constant definition, which invokes the meaning of human existence and the curiosity for the unknown in this vast universe and beyond.

Solaris sound moves between progressive rock from the 70s and the tonalities of electronic music, with influences from krautrock, psychedelic rock and post-rock. With an experimental approach, where improvisation rules, Solaris is all about spontaneity and creativity, free of barriers or conventions.

Above all, Solaris is the expression of four musicians: André Pousadas (drums, percussion and FX), Bernardo Mexia Alves (bass guitar), Cláudia Casquillho (keyboards and synths) and Gonçalo Botelho (guitars, vocals, synths and FX).
