THE MIGHTY SWINE

Featuring Mike Skimmerhorn of Chastain/CJSS/Spike on Vocals & Bass, Stacey Donahue, Jeff Tong on Guitar’s, and Ric Martelino on Drums. The band has close to 25 yrs experience each and a large catalog of albums to their credits. They recently (Oct ‘14) completed an eleven (11) city tour in the United States & Canada as support for DORO Pesch, celebrating her Strong & Proud 30th Anniversary Tour. The Swine has performed with several major label acts including: Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch, Dokken, Skid Row, LA Guns, Adler's Appetite as well as an appearance at Dirt Fest 2014. An event with over 7000 in attendance. The Swine released its second full-length CD, “LAST MAN STANDING” in May, 2014 featuring a video for the title track. Mike Skimmerhorn enlisted veteran guitarist Stacey Donahue along with session drummer Rory Faciane. This album features ten (10) new Swine songs much heavier and more progressive than prior releases. It includes the Judas Priest classic, Hell Bent for Leather. 2013 & 2015 Mike Skimmerhorn records his 5th & 6th album with the metal band "Chastain" with Leather Leone.(Surrender To No One - We Bleed Metal respectively - Leviathan Records). The Mighty Swine released singles LUST / Pagan Holiday and Love Dies on Broad Horizon Records and shot their first professional video in April, 2012 for LUST. It spent 17 weeks at #1 on Roxwel's Music Video Charts (www.roxwel.com). It currently has over 25,000 youtube views. The band was also nominated for a C.E.A. (Cincinnati Entertainment Award) for Best Hard Rock Band 2012. The Mighty Swine’s debut album “EVERLAST” was released in 2009. Hard Rock Nights listed their first single, Layin' Down the Law, on their “Best Of” 2009. The Mighty Swine are a progressive hard rock/heavy metal band with roots in the Midwest of the United States.
