The Distributors are three rock and rollers from Nanaimo BC, who are firm believers in “bigger is better”… when it comes to sound that is! Fuzz-driven guitar solos, a groovy rhythm section and Dyn-O-Mite vocal melodies are what you can expect from their live shows, and they deliver every time. Since forming in 2012, The Distributors have earned their chops playing on an almost religious basis in effort to achieve that perfect sound and surpass their own expectations. Bassist/Lead Vocalist Kaylie Russell, Lead Guitarist Brett Bourcier have earned some notable feathers in their caps over the past few years such as placing 2nd out of over 200 applicants in the Landmark Entertainment Showcase Festival, winning studio time at the legendary Greenhouse Studios, being nominated for live act of the year at the Vancouver Island Music Awards, and opening for Sebastian Bach former frontman of Skid Row. In 2013 the opening track “Bus” from their debut album “In Color” was play listed on 106.9 The Wolf and was ranked number 11 on the top 40’s chart.
