Deze energieke Haags-Rotterdamse tienmansformatie is beïnvloed door met name de Amerikaanse en Engelse folkscene. Ze reizen sinds 2012 stad en land af om de in het hart gesloten vrijheid op het publiek te doen overslaan. Na het winnen van "De Haagse Popprijs aanstormend talent" in 2013 en "De Sena Performers PopNL Awards" in 2014 ontstond er al snel aandacht voor de band onder een breder publiek. Zo groeide de Familie gestaag door. In oktober 2014 werd de eerste plaat gepresenteerd in een uitverkocht Paard van Troje in Den Haag. Vrijheid en vriendschap heeft de band, naast diverse podia en festivals in Nederland, de afgelopen jaren ook al in Griekenland en langs de kusten van Frankrijk gebracht. Momenteel werkt de band hard aan de opnames van de tweede plaat die voorjaar 2016 het levenslicht zal zien. This energetic ten-man band from Holland is influenced by the American and British folk scene. They are traveling all around Europe to share the freedom they carry in their hearts with their audience. After a flying start in 2012 winning the "The Hague upcoming talent Award 2013" and "The Sena Performers PopNL Awards 2014" resulted in an even broader audience taking the band to heart. The Family steadily continued to grow. In October 2014 they released their first album, in a sold out "Paard van Troje" in The Hague. Freedom and friendship took them, next to various venues and festivals in the Netherlands, to Greece and the French coasts. Currently the band is recording their second album, which is scheduled for release in early spring 2016.
