Danielle Prou Biography
Often compared to Norah Jones and Alicia Keys, 13 year-old Danielle Prou is a professional singer-songwriter with a haunting, soulful voice, who is becoming well known through performances at clubs and special events in the Los Angeles area. She has recorded and performed with Douglas James, Shelbie and Robby Bruce, and is a founding principal in the Paper Dollz and Little Darlins,’ two professional retro Broadway song and dance troupes. Danielle is also proud to have won a film festival “best actress” award for her lead role in the short film “grace in SARA,” in which she sings an a capella version of “Turn on your radio,” written by Veruca Salt’s Nina Gordon, to her child therapist, played by Eva La Rue of CSI: Miami. Born in Australia to an American father and a Cambodian refugee mother, Danielle now calls Los Angeles home. Introducing 16 yr-old Singer/Songwriter/Actress with a soulful voice.
