Bad Remedy Biography

Bad Remedy, comprised of vocalist Dayne Sauder, drummer Kevin Cuthbertson, bassist Jon Banks, and dueling guitarists Alex Mayer and Riley Beaire, is characterized by their hard rock riffs, huge and driving drum and bass, squealing solos, all topped off with gritty, melodic vocals. Besides their main online presence on www.facebook.com/BadRemedyMusic, the touring band is centered in their hometown of Mansfield and adopted home-base in Columbus, Ohio. The band, aged 19-22, has been described as such: “[They] worked the crowd like true professionals.” – examiner.com "[Bad Remedy] - It's more than a band...it's an ATTITUDE!!" – Mid Ohio Rock Show “[One of] Columbus’ best local bands…” – The Alrosa Villa. "Like Nickelback... On steroids!" -- The Rust Belt Chronicles Several thousands of views on Youtube, a fledgling iTunes presence, and over 3,000 likes on Facebook, with posts reaching nearly 40,000 people, means Bad Remedy’s market has only room to grow. The band’s main selling point is that “we play music that we’d enjoy listening to. Catchy choruses, groovy riffs, and red-hot solos are what we’re into, so that’s what we write.” Also a perk, group is no stranger to the road, having spent countless hours on Texas dirt roads, Ohio highways, Chicago turnpikes, and everything in between; not to mention a 4,200+ mile tour of the Mid-West U.S. sponsored by Noisy Eyewear in 2014 and many many more miles to go this summer. With the release of their newest single "Whiskey Running," thousands of copies of their EP floating around the Midwest, airtime on various radio stations such as 99.7 The Blitz, Spotify, and 88.9 ClassXRadio, while playing some of the biggest festivals in country such as Rock on the Range, Rocklahoma and RockFest with acts such as Alice in Chains, Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch, Kid Rock, Judas Priest, Avenged Sevenfold, Nickelback and Shinedown, Bad Remedy is taking the next step toward success: touring their tight-stretchy pants off to spread their name from local heavyweight to national talent. Our message is simple: Where our music is welcome, we will play it loud. Where our music is challenged, we will play it louder.
