Crayon Made Army

[ITA] A seguito del disco “Far into the night”, e dell’ EP “Breathe me in” pubblicato sotto il nome di Music Pushers la band umbra Crayon Made Army debutta con il disco “Flags” nel 2015, preceduto dal singolo Pristine. Sotto l’influenza di artisti come Bjork e Jonsi, le loro sonorità elettroniche si uniscono ad elementi acustici e orchestrali creando insieme alle voci un mix sonoro dal respiro nord europeo. Songwriting anglofono e richiami ad immaginari surreali contribuiscono ad etichettare Flags un disco dream-pop. Registrato tra Italia e Olanda, l’album è stato prodotto da Paolo Mauri (Afterhours, Prozac+, Sottotono…) che ha curato missaggio e masterizzazione, insieme a Marco Cappiello (Tamara Woestenburg, Dennis Kolen) che ha curato le registrazioni presso lo studio Sante Boutique di Rotterdam. Al disco si aggiungono la collaborazione del violoncellista sperimentale Maarten Vos, e di Erika Giansanti alla viola. [ENG] "Flags" is The first album by Crayon Made Army, a newborn band including three components of the Music Pushers (themusicpushers.com). The album consist in a brilliant combination of  vocals, electronics and acoustic elements. A well balanced sound  where pop music meets electro, indie sounds along with orchestral and acoustic instruments. Registered between Italy and Rotterdam, the album has been  produced by Marco Cappiello, recording chief at the Santeboutique studio [NL], and Paolo Mauri [Afterhours, Prozac +, Sottotono ... ] who also mixed and mastered the record.
