Adessa on Bay State

Adessa on Bay State is an East Coast based band whose members stem from Montana, Switzerland and California. With a focus on lyrics, the band has evolved from the solo efforts of guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Adessa Campbell into an artistic collaboration with drummer Jacques Spaelti and bassist Freddy Reish. Jacques and Adessa met over beer with friends, and Freddy stumbled into the coffee shop where Adessa worked as a barista. She told him she would make him beautiful, free lattes forever if he played bass in her band. After a few months Adessa on Bay State played a show hosted by some friends. Eva not only hosted but also performed at said show. After hearing her perform Adessa, Jac and Freddy knew Eva would be a perfect addition to the band. Thankfully Eva enjoyed Adessa on Bay State's performance so much, she joined the band immediately, solidifying the group as a quartet. Founded in 2015, Adessa on Bay State's music encompasses many styles including folk, indie, rock, pop, jazz, and hip hop. Aesthetically adorable but thematically twisted, this band strives to achieve their goals. From recording, rehearsing and playing shows, to trying to kill a 12 pack on a Tuesday afternoon.
