Tj Willoughby : or “Frodo” as the band calls their drummer occasionally has been in the music game with his twin brother Cody since they were both 7 playing more classical instruments then the twins picked up drums and bass respectively. By the age of 13 they both were already in a band and had booked gigs. Tj's musical influences include Emerson Lake and Palmer, Avenged Sevenfold ( with Rev) and Five Finger Death Punch. The fervent drummer of the band is laid back anytime he's not behind that kit then its a blur of motion and skill. Tj obviously is doing what he loves. Tj loves the brotherhood of the band and feels the Skam is his family. Cody Willoughby: called “Slap-nut” by other members of the band there are rumors that he was born as a dolphin and has since had several surgeries to resemble a human. Like his brother he has been playing instruments since he was 7 and has been involved with the business of making music ever since. Musical influences include Stanley Clark, Alter bridge, and Breaking Benjamin. He is driven by the crowd elation it gives him fuel for what feels like an out of body experience. Matt Mains: or “Mainsy/propansy/main-squeeze.” Matt has been playing guitar since he was 12 and formed his first band shortly after that at the age of 14. Matt is driven by the passion he has for this music and the elation of the Skammers, and loves nothing more than to see their faces light up as a certain song starts to play. Matt writes his songs like a building process, you have a blueprint and you make the blocks you have work like Tetris. Musical influences include Rush, Bad Company, and Killswitch Engage. Jeff Krist: or “ Jericho/Kristo” is the lead vocals of the band brought in by request of Matt. Jeff is a self taught singer since the age of 12 and had enough raw natural talent to hang with the other guys in the beginning but from their he has taken that raw talent and refined it to bring another versatile instrument to the mix. Jeff writes music via the ala carte jam, and refine refine refine the jam. Musical influences include 3 Doors Down, Miles Kennedy, and a softer choice, Matchbox 20. Julian Quesada: Infamously known and introduced as the “Juice”. Juice is a sort of revival for the band he joined a few years later and is their newest member but one could say that his prestigious skills breathed a new fervor into the band. Juice began playing guitar at the age of 11 but quit after 2 years. He couldn't stay away for long though as he picked it up again at 13 and has showed no signs of stopping since. Musical influences include Paul Gilbert, Cell Dweller, and Vinny Moore. He likes nothing more than to sleep after the extreme high of a good concert. He is in it for the passion and as he calls “ translating feels.” The Royal Skam is a hard hitting rock band hailing from Medina, Ohio. Like a chemical concoction the band formed quickly and exploded from there.
