Jody and Kirk are pleased to continue the semi-annual Kraken tradition that Eric started years ago with the assistance of Doza and many other solid metal folks... This is number seven in a rocking series.Essentially, Krakenfest is an all day affair that includes food and an entire night of the best Metal in the Southeast.No goat this year... we're serving home cooked BBQ Pulled Pig with many sides. Doza and friends are really stepping it up this year to provide food for our vegan friends. Our friends at Triangle Chance for All Animal Sanctuary are the ones to really thank for these extra options. Food will be ready to serve at 5pm so show up early.Normally, The Kraken provides shows without a cover charge on Fridays and Saturdays, but this event is the exception to the rule since there will be epic food and seven epic bands. Cover charge will be $15 bucks, and we'll stamp your hand and you get you eat and rock. Please tip your bartenders generously since all cover charges go to the bands.

TheHellNo Biography
The Hell No is a dynamic female fronted four-piece, best described as a mix of punk 'n roll, blues rock, and heavy metal. Their diverse sound allows them the freedom to share the stage with a variety of acts, from hard rock, to highly technical progressive rock, to hardcore punk and thrash metal, and even rockabilly and burlesque performers. They have shared the stage with the likes of Ace Frehley, The Aristocrats (Guthrie Govan, Bryan Beller, and Marco Minnemann), Benjamin Booker, The Bots, ANTiSEEN, Hudson Falcons, and Beyond Pink, and have played festivals such as Heavy Rebel Weekender, SPARKcon, and deja MI fest. They have been featured on TriangleLife.tv's show The Setlist, as well as on WKNC 88.1's Local Band/Local Beer. The band is currently writing their first full-length, scheduled to debut in fall 2015.
