Versus Fate Biography
Byron Bay/Gold Coast melodic rockers Versus Fate have released their debut EP on 15.5.15 featuring singles “Save Me” and “As I Fall” which have been picking up YouTube views and airplay including rotation on Queensland’s commercial rock network Rebel FM. The 5 track EP was recorded at Studio 301 in Byron Bay with renowned producer Paul Pilsneniks at the helm (Angus Stone, The Tea Party, Grinspoon, The Mars Volta), and was mastered at Metropolis Studios in the UK. Whilst the band might have only formed in recent times, the band members are no strangers to the Australian music scene having played the Big Day Out and supporting international artists around Australia. This is singer Dylan De Proysn‘s introduction to the rock scene but his years of experience on jazz and lounge bar stages has developed a rich and powerful tone to this youngster's vocal delivery. Lead shredder Corey De Luka and drummer Matt ‘Flo’ Howard have played together for several years in GC alt rock bands Verusive and Velvet Ballroom; guitarist Kraig Blatch hails from Sydney nu metal band Art Imitates Crime; with bassist Tiger Marshall hailing from GC bands Gimpus and InCyde. To celebrate the release of their EP, Versus Fate have commenced a run of live shows which kicked off at the Wallapalooza Festival, and along with upcoming SE Qld shows the band are embarking on their first southern tour with September shows in Sydney, Newcastle & Bateman's Bay.
