Kory Wlos

Kory Wlos is fast becoming one of Canada’s best known country performers! Growing up on a small farm two hours north of Edmonton, Kory grew up with the dreams of becoming a pro hockey player, just like every Canadian kid. Well, when that didn’t pan out he went to his second love: music. This love for music would force him to learn to play the guitar. He began performing with a home town wedding band and polishing his craft! He eventually took over the band and began to pursue a career as a solo act. Kory put out his first CD, called “Highway Love”, in 1999 in which he wrote all of the songs. It has been reviewed by Country Wave magazine’s Marc Stevenson, “Kory Wlos seems to have a ton of talent, a great attitude and a bright future ahead of him”. Performing all over Western Canada, Kory’s biggest accomplishment has been performing on the main stage at Big Valley Jamboree 2006. He shared the stage with country superstars such as Montgomery Gentry, Lori Morgan, Shooter Jennings, and George Fox. He also has opened up for world renowned country recording artists Jason Aldean, David Lee Murphy, Chely Wright, Doc Walker, Beverly Mahood, and many more. He currently lives in Sherwood Park, AB and is working on his second CD. Kory is best known for his boundless energy on stage with an appealing voice and natural charisma. The main thing he would like for people to get out his music is that they will be able to relate to the different situations his songs takes them through.
