Sisters, Singers, Songwriters, and Performers, Catina & Angela are HighDiamond. They were first recognized at a young age for their outstanding dance abilities at competitions, workshops and performances across Canada and the U.S.A. HighDiamond, a name that was derived from the diamond award in the world of dance competitions is the perfect name for this duo as both Catina & Angela were always shooting for the highest award of the competition! Being raised in a musical family it wasn’t a surprise that they began dancing at the age of 4 and began singing not long after. “I remember writing my first song when I was about 8 years old and my sister and I still sing it once in a while for fun” says Catina. Always being surrounded by music & entertainers has enriched their lives so much that they could never imagine not performing and sharing their love for music in hopes of inspiring others. HighDiamond feels it is important to “pay it forward” and are active in anti-bullying campaigns regularly hosting web chats to speak to young fans about self-esteem and staying true to themselves and making a positive impact. “We have been very blessed and think it’s important for people to give back to their community in any way they can” says Angela. The ladies of HighDiamond have been busy working with producers internationally to complete a carefully selected collaborations to introduce to their fans as they continue their live performance tour. The songs go from poppy dance beats to club raves and soulful ballads, each of which stand on their own as individual statements, and together show what HighDiamond represent as artists. The first of these tracks to be released by HighDiamond is a high energy single called 'FABULOUS'. Fabulous was released in North America in March of 2015 and quickly climbed the charts on many radio stations in Canada and the U.S.A. The music video for Fabulous also reached Number 1 on the Blastro Charts in June. Fabulous is sure to be remembered by many as their summer anthem for 2015. Now HighDiamond is preparing to release a special remixed version in Europe (Fabulous (Europe Edition)) for their diamond following. Along with the radio version, dance enthusiasts will also be excited to know that there will also be the official club remix (by DJ Bonne) dropped which is set to become a staple at every rave and EDM venue around the world.
