Set In Motion

Set in Motion is a band born in Genoa at the end of 2012 by some members of the We Get the Light together with the former drummer of the Ready Set Fall. The main idea was to build up a very personal musical proposal, melting together influences coming from different sounds and the common attitude for the post and math core music, in comparison with the current rock music scenario, taking also into account different kinds of music. Set in Motion released their first single in May 2013 and, after some months spent on experimenting and trying to find the right lineup to bring their music around, their first live was planned for the Autumn of the same year. The gigs on different occasions in the North of Italy, as well as abroad, saw the Set in Motion as opener of famous bands like Destrage and Skyharbor during the Autumn of 2013 and 2014. They were penned up in Fusix studio since January 2015 to record their first EP "Like Sand, Through Our Fingers", coming out on June, 16th for Red Music (Artery, Century Media, Victory Records).
