The Follow Biography
The Follow is a trio of best friends from America's heartland. Life in a small town led to hours in the woods, by the river, and on skateboards. Described as Panoramic Rock, the band has toured from L.A. to NYC, as well as Europe, and the media have supported the band across North America with college and commercial radio airplay.
The new album, Wilderness (2020), sits in the space between something familiar like that weathered, leather jacket that's always the first choice when the chill of autumn hits the air and something intriguing like the curious smell of something new you're anxious to taste. The album is rooted in its acoustic guitar foundation, yet takes some twists and turns with electronic effects, synth beds & organs, lush vocal harmonies, and lyrical content steeped in life spent wearing that leather jacket.
This group of best friends found worldwide support due to consistently streaming live broadcasts for over ten years. The streaming shows have been showcased in the band’s World Tour In A Day events featuring five shows in one day, each in a different time zone targeted to a specific country. Their fan base has funded albums and international touring allowing the band to focus on music. The Follow seeks to support tours with Manchester Orchestra, Longwave, The Joy Formidable, and The War on Drugs. Current shows are scheduled in Missouri and the surrounding states, plus regular live broadcasts on the Internet. The band is currently booking CO, OK, NM, NV, UT, AZ, and CA for March 2020.
