Midnight Wire

Midnight Wire are a four piece Indie/Rock band based in Leicester - previously compared to the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, The Libertines and The Clash and are proudly endorsed by Realm and Empire. The band formed in 2011, with their first single 'Oh Lola' receiving national radio airplay with a fantastic reception from critics. They then completed a 35 date UK headline tour (in venues such as O2 Academies, the prestigious 100 Club in London, The Cavern in Liverpool and many more). Recent shows have seen them also appear on Carl Barat, Gary Numan and Chris McCormack's London clubnight 'Jubliee' at the Camden Barfly as well as securing slots on the likes of Summer Sundae Festival, Strawberry Fields Festival and Riverside Festival. Midnight Wire were also crowned winners of the OBS in Leicester and have received major backing from the likes of BBC Introducing since they formed. Its no wonder they have been tipped as the next big thing to come out of Leicester.
