BIO – DE Tonfall ist eine Stuttgarter DJ-Kollaboration. Kollabos sind sowieso total im Trend und da die beiden Virtuosen, die in einem Vorort Stuttgarts heimisch sind, seit dem fünften Lebensjahr sowieso nicht mehr ohneeinander können – bat sich das natürlich an. Natürlich gibt es auch essentiellere Gründe – beispielsweise die Synergie zwischen den beiden 25-Jährigen die auf die Namen „Joshua Wagner“ und „Jan Hofmann“ hören. Viel zu selten wird Musik so zelebriert – viel zu selten werden Einflüsse von Funk, House, Disco und Acid so geschickt kombiniert, dass eine derart um sich schlagende Stimmung entsteht die alles mitreist was bis jetzt noch nicht gewackelt halt. Wie Eric Church schon sagte „Genres are Dead!“ – Wussten wir ja eh schon! Ihre ersten Abzeichen verdienten Sie sich in Locations wie dem Hype Club und dem Club Finca in Stuttgart – in letzterem sind Sie momentan als Resident Act regelmäßig hinter den Plattentellern. Aber auch weit über die Grenzen dieser zwei Clubs und vor allem weit über Stuttgarts Kessel hinaus ist die Kollabo aktiv – so zählen Shows in Clubs wie dem ROCKER33, dem Club Lehmann, dem FourRunners, dem Rheingold (Düsseldorf) und dem Tanzhaus West (FFM) zu Ihrem Portfolio. Collabos are trendy at the moment anyway, and therefore for the two virtuosi, living in Stuttgarts suburbs, who cannot be without each other since the age of five – it’s provided the possibility of a collaboration. For sure there are couple of more essential reasons for this – for example the emerging synergy between the two 25-year old Guys answering to the name of “Joshua Wagner” and “Jan Hofmann”. Far too seldom music is celebrated in this way – far too seldom influences of Funk, House, Disco and Acid are combined that cleverly – that such a fetching mood is created – thrilling everyone not shaking yet. “Genres are dead” – to mention a Eric Church quote. As we already knew. Their first laurels they gained in locations like the Stuttgart based “Club Finca” and “Hype Club” – in the latter mentioned Club Finca they are playing a Residency at the moment – where you can find them couple of times monthly behind the Turntables. But also across the borders of these two clubs and furthermore across Stuttgarts borders Tonfall generated buzzes with showcases in Clubs like ROCKER33, Club Lehmann, FourRunners, the Rheingold ( Düsseldorf ) and the Tanzhaus West ( FFM ).
