Troll Bends Fir (“Troll Gnet El “ in Russian) – Undoubtedly, TBF is a leading Russian band in such genre as “folk-rock-humppa-metal”. The musicians themselves describe their style as “beer folk” and this is also a part of the group’s brand. TBF’s lyrics are full of praise for divine frothy drink and funny stories about characters of pagan Scandinavian and European folklore. The band have celebrated their 10th anniversary, brought out 4 albums, prepared a new concert program, which will become the 5th album later, and played about 300 gigs, 50-60 per year in the last 3 years. Live performance, TBF’s strong point, is powerful energy coming from stage, endless joy and dancing people throughout the show, lively direct contact with the audience, several concert costumes of different kinds, magnetism turning ordinary people into loyal fans. Les musiciens eux-mêmes caractérisent leur style comme «folk de bière» et c’est aussi une partie de leur marque. La lyrique de TBF est la chanson d’une boisson mousseuse divine, bière, et des histoires bizarres avec des personnages de la Scandinavie païenne et de l’Europe. A présent le groupe a fêté sa dixième anniversaire, a enregistré 4 albums, a préparé un nouveau programme de concert (en qualité d’un nouveau cinqième album) et a joué environ 300 concerts, au surplus les trois dernières années - 50-60 concerts par an (pour la plupart des musiciens le groupe TBF c’est un lieu unique de travail!) Des shows vivants, fort du groupe, c’est le plus puissant flux d’énergie de la scène, une joie débordante et des danses de toute la salle à longueur de tout le set, un contact direct avec le public, quelques variants des costums de concert, le magnétisme transformant un auditeur habituel en fêlé. La composition des chansons et les procédés musicaux de TBF sont caractéristiques de la musique “metal” avec utilisation d’un «overdrive» léger et d’un son pur de guitare ce qui donne le son dynamique, original, «frais» et reconnaissable; bien sûr une partie des chanson a une «distortion». Aussi TBF est le groupe unique en son genre parce qu’il y a une possibilité de correspondre au format metal et aux formats ethno, folk et folk-rock: la diversité du matériel permet de faire quelques variants de playlist par rapport des auditeurs ayant d’âges et de goûts variés. En Russie le groupe TBF est devenu depuis longtemps le classique de son style et les quatre dernières années donne des concerts de grands open-air et participe aux festivals de rock du pays, par exemple “Nashestvie”, “Emmaus”, ”Vozduh” faisant dizaines de mille de personnes, il participe aussi aux festivals de bière, aux jours de la ville, aux festivals Oktoberfest, St. Patrick’s Days et beaucoup d’autres; et bien sûr aux concerts de headliner et d’one-man-show. TBF a partagé la scène avec des collègues étrangers reconnus Korpiklaani, Finntroll, Cruachan. “TROLL BENDS FIR” ist ohne Zweifel die Gruppe “Nummer 1“ in Rußland in dem “Folk-Rock-Humppa-Metal-Genre“. Die Musiker selbst bezeichnen seinen Stil als “Bier-Folk“. Er gehört auch zur Marke der Grupppe. In seiner Lyrik singt TBF das göttliche Schaumgetränk - das Bier und erzählt lustige Geschichte über Gestalte des heidnischen Skandinavien und Europas. Zur Zeit hat die Gruppe das 10-jähriges Jubiläum gefeiert, 4 Albums aufgenommen, ein neues Konzertprogramm vorbereitet (später muß das als 5 Album aufgenommen werden) und etwa 300 Konzerte gegeben, wobei in den letzten drei Jahre 50-60 Konzerte im Jahr (für die meisten Musiker ist die Gruppe TBF die enzige Arbeitsstelle). Die strahlende Energie von der Bühne, schrankenlose Ausgelassenheit und Tanzen während des ganzen Konzerts, der lebhafter Dialog mit dem Publikum, viele Bühnenkostüme, Magentismus, das einen gewöhnlichen Zuhörer in den Fan umwandelt – dies alles gehört zur lebendigen Show, die stärkste Seite der Gruppe. TBF wenden den Aufbau des Liedes und die Methoden an, die für das Metal-Genre typisch sind, zu dem fügt sie ein leichtes “overdrive“ und klaren Gitarrenklang. In ihrem Heimatland gehört TBF schon längst zu den anerkannten Klassikern in ihrem Genre und die letzten vier Jahre nimmt an den größten open-air und Rock-Festivals des Landes, wie “Nashestvie”, “Emmaus” und ”Vozduh”, zu den Tausende von Menschen kommen, sowie an den Bier-Festivals, an den Stadttagen, am Oktoberfest, St. Patrick´s Days und vielen anderen Veranstaltungen teil.
