First sign of Light

First Sign of Light are a four piece alternative rock act from Kent, UK. After playing music together as friends in 2010 the band was officially formed in 2011 and the process of writing and recording the bands debut EP 'Humagnitude' began. Influenced by a range of styles from ambient/prog to blues to post hardcore this blend, combined with the personality and playing style of each member, allowed the band to forge their unique sound and provide variety to their set. The band spent the summer playing plenty of shows - forming their sound and live presence. At this point, the band took stock of how they could further improve their sound and live performance. A large part of 2013 was spent writing new material and the bands first professionally recorded and released debut single 'Molehills' was aired by BBC radio and well received. The band has gone on to play a variety of well respected venues across the South and Midlands in the UK and has had the pleasure of playing with some established and talented acts. In 2014 the Band had a pretty intense calender. Silverstone, Grand Prix got in touch with the guys and they had the pleasure of performing an Acoustic rendition of their set to thousands of people. They then went on to recording and releasing their second single which began the process of pre-production and recording their debut album. Later in 2014, other prestigious Venues saw 'FSOL' take the stage such as The O2 Academy, Islington and The Forum, Tunbridge Wells.
