Owen Donovan & The Mockingbirds: Born in Ireland, Owen was consumed by music from an early age, his Mother and Father being singers themselves were heavily involved in traditional Irish music. Singing and dancing was a big part of family life. One day while listening to Joe Cockers 'A little help from my Friends' Owen realised it was no longer enough just to be a listener on the outside, he needed to be a part of the music, to be inside a great song. He picked up the guitar when he was 16 and it wasn't long before he wrote his first song. Now armed with his unique voice and heartfelt songs he captures the audiences attention where ever he goes. Owen is considered to be one of the best Acoustic Solo Artists on the South Coast of England with hundreds of performances already behind him. The Mockingbirds joined Owen in 2014, having already obtained their warm unique sound it was obvious to everyone that something brilliant was happening and immediately began working on a debut album: a collection of songs written while Owen was touring Denmark, they have the energy of travel and give the listener a taste of utter freedom, songs like 'Get Lost' and 'Will and Way' just give you an empty sky and spread your wings feeling an open road and no schedule, laying in long grass watching the sunset with a bottle of whiskey. Owen and the band signed up with AllStars Productions Music Management LTD, an Independent Music Production & Distribution Company in East Sussex, and they are recording their debut album at CMP Studios LTD. with their Producer, Tom Askaroff, who is known as the best producer on the South Coast of UK.
