Rachith has worked hard over the past decade to make his mark on the underground music generation. He is a DJ, Radio Host for YES 101 & was working as a Media Communication Manager/Event Coordinator at Fantasy Events. Rachith has been tearing up the Colombo nightlife scene since 2003 at many venues starting from Zanzibar Colombo, Tabu, Amuseum & many other respected events. He’s renowned for his unique sound Techno & Tech House. Like any evolving artist, Rachith has followed his own musical path, seeking out great tracks no matter the genre. His blending of Techno, Tech House has been predominantly displayed in his recent sets, as he walks the line between giving the crowd what they expect and what they didn’t even know they wanted. Like-minded music lovers have embraced this progression made evident by his recent live sets. Rachith has played alongside many top international artist such as Ramiro Lopez, Nakadia, Guy Mantzur, Grum, Max Graham, Dash Berlin, Jerome Isma-Ae, Paul Thomas, Prok & Fitch, Luigi Rocca, Andrea Bertolini, Filthy Rich, Steve Haines, Sequ3l,Da Fresh, Minimize and Ahmet Sendil to name a few. Currently Rachith is building his own style of music through a brand new weekly radio show called “Rebirth Radio” on YES 101 every saturday from 11pm -12am and he will continue to take his listeners on an incredible journey.
