All About Kane

[ITA] Il progetto All About Kane nasce nel marzo 2008 dall’incontro di cinque musicisti (Andy, Eddy, Fabry, Thom e Guido) già attivi in formazioni rock-pop biellesi e con esperienze semi-professionali nell’ambiente musicale (ThePublic, Declaus, Gene.Razionale, Plektro). Lo stile della band è orientato verso un tipo di rock "intimista" cantato in inglese, fortemente influenzato dallo stile britannico, capace di alternare sonorità acustiche a momenti elettrici di forte impatto emotivo, riuscendo ad evidenziare un tocco di originalità per gli arrangiamenti. La vocazione internazionale del gruppo è una delle caratteristiche principali: non restare “chiusi” solo all’interno del circuito italiano, ma raggiungere anche il mercato europeo con una proposta artistica di livello internazionale con un live set di grande intensità. All About Kane è un progetto ambizioso, dove la qualità musicale si fonde con un’idea estetica raffinata: la registrazione e la commercializzazione del primo ep di 5 pezzi “Trails” è accompagnata da un book fotografico, da un sito specifico e dal video del primo singolo “Saturday Night Mask”, realizzati in collaborazione con professionisti del settore come il fotografo Damiano Andreotti e il regista Stefano Bertelli (Marlene Kuntz, Cristina Donà, Caparezza, Nomadi, Dari, Bandabardò). Il gruppo, inoltre, dopo essere stato tra i i dieci finalisti dello SzigetFestival 2009 (scelti da una giuria tra oltre 900 gruppi iscritti alle selezioni) ha vinto il premio “500 cd targati Cramps Records”. [ENG] The All About Kane project began in March 2008 during a meeting between five musicians (Andy, Eddy, Fabry, Thom e Guido) who were already active in other rock-pop ventures around Biella (Italy) and with semi-professional experiences in the music world (ThePublic, Declaus, Gene.Razionale, Plektro). The style of the band is orientated towards a type of rock "intimately personal" and sung in English, strongly influenced by British style, able to alternate acoustic sounds with electrical moments with a strong emotional impact, succeeding in demonstrating an original touch in the arrangements. The international vocation of the group is one of the main characteristics, not remaining 'enclosed' solely inside the Italian circuit but also reaching the European market by proposing a very intense live set of international level. All About Kane is an ambitious plan where the musical quality combines with a refined estetical idea: the recording and commercialisation of the first EP of 5 tracks, "Trails" accompanied by a photo album, a specific website and by a video of the first single, "Saturday Night Mask", made in collaboration with professionals from that area, the photographer Damiano Andreotti e the producer Stefano Bertelli (Marlene Kuntz, Cristina Donà, Caparezza, Nomadi, Dari, Bandabardò).
