Rocktenors Biography
Before becoming the "Best Band" in the history of the hungarian X-Factor, the three members worked together in the theater world playing lead roles. They are mostly known for their polyphonic tenor vocals. The band started creating cover songs under the name of "The 3 Rock Tenors" in 2010. Their first cover was "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica, which became their success in the auditions of the Hungarian X-Factor 2011. Following performances of Queen's "Show Must Go On", "Who wants to Live Forever", Scorpions' "Still Loving You," Guns'n'Roses "Don't Cry" and Fecó Balázs' "Homok a szélben", the Rocktenors found themselves in the top six contestant in the grand finale. In the show they duelled 4 times (3 won), and positioned sixth place alongside becaming the Best Band in the history of the Hungarian X-Factor. They performed their first song "Szabadság" written by Márió Mező at the day of the show's finale. Some of their covers - Guns'n'Roses "Don't Cry", "Adagio" appeared in two various albums made by the show.Their first debut single came out in summer 2012 "Ha Menni Kell". The third song of the band "Szabadesés" (Freefall) came out in late January and released on Sony Music Hungary's own various album "Contestants of the 2013 Eurovision". Alongside with their band they got several roles in the most famous theatres in Hungary. The members of the band playing lead roles in Madách Theatre "Cats", Pesti Magyar Theatre "Dance of the Vampires", Thália Theatre "Starfactory", Island Musical Theatre "Hair", "Jesus Christ Superstar" and so on ... They played at the biggest stage of Hungary with X-Factor Tour Budapest "Arena" as well as other coliseums in the bigger cities of the country.
