Fears For Tears Biography
Fears For Tears- the definitive tribute to TFF
Some thirty years after the seminal new wave duo Tears For Fears emerged from Bath, England to deliver one of the most powerful debut efforts in history, "Fears For Tears" was founded across an expanse of ocean to pay homage to their fantastic catalog of music. Much effort has gone into accurately reproducing the sounds of TFF sonically from every era. The principal band members hail from other prominent Southern CA tribute acts and musical projects.
Brent Meyer (Roland Orzabarely) has been portraying Martin Gore in Depeche Mode tributes for twelve years, most definitively with Strangelove. When not doing that, he's producing other original acts, doing remixes, recording tribute acts for sync licensing purposes and helming the largest tribute band booking agency in the world.
Darren Embry (Curt Sm'ish) Prior to filling Curt's shoes, Darren expertly inhabited the role of Peter Hook in The New Order tribute "Blue Order". Darren also does a family band (pushbuttons!) with his wife and talented offspring, who also cover more esoteric Alt-80s offerings. Prior to that, he's recorded and toured the world in bands of note, supporting even more prominent bands of note, that you've certainly heard of.
Guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist David Walsh has also released records, had videos on the MTV, and most recently works for one of the last major record labels still standing.
Drummer Ed Via is one of those "musician's musicians" that intimidates other musicians with his musicianship.
