Children Lost In Time Biography

Children Lost In Time formed in 2013 as a four piece, consisting of vocalist Marc Cross guitarist Alex Rollason , bassist Kieran "chucky" Wickenden and Drummer Jordan Phillips Hailing from Nuneaton , in the heart of England Children Lost In Time deliver a full-on punch to the gut with weighty riffs and rhythm in a thoughtfully crafted musical experience, while maintaining as accessible, light-hearted and energetic presence in live performance. ‘Serious stuff, not taken too seriously’ is Children Lost In Time’s captivating and endearing trademark. That’s not to play down this band’s work ethic – their effort on and off stage is driven by a genuine passion for the music they create and love, and the people who can share in it. This passion manifests itself in their sound and is thoroughly infectious. Children Lost In Time are not hamstrung by the angst of conforming to the requirements for ‘originality’ or of ‘fitting’ into the organized genres – unashamedly, they write what they feel and leave in to others to do the pigeon-holing. Listen to the music. Talk to the band. Children Lost In Time have a drive which will see them go far. Hopefully, you’ll want to be part of the journey. "Children Lost In Time tore my face off, took it away and sold it to metal gypsies for scrap, that is how destroyed my beerface was, how I had not caught these live before I have no idea!" - Jim Beerman “this 4 piece seem incapable to being anything less than tight, tighter than an Eskimo’s nad sack. Groovy come metalcore style breaks and ground breaking riffs, would make anyone pull the Meshuggah face” - Midlands Metalheads, RobWK “Seeing Children Lost In Time at Bloodstock Festival's Metal To The Masses made Napalm Death look like the Teletubbies!!!” Mucka Jay - TBFM Radio “Checked out Children Lost in Time or CLIT for short on the indoor stage. It was decent dearthly stuff of dreaded deeds and tortured souls, breaking the gates of hell. Once I had put the fact that most bands here will have fifteen-string bass guitars to bed I knew I would enjoy the event. CLIT from Nuneaton played a bit of taking us to a Gay Bar, it was all good and Marc’s vocals did add plenty of bottom end ha!” neilcrud - link2wales “Children Lost In Time take to the stage a mass of seething vitriol. Frontman Marc is an expert at conveying his conviction and sheer venom on tracks such as I Hate God and Dreaded Deed. The fact that they manage to change tactic and finish their set with a gleeful cover of Electric 6’s Gay Bar proves that they aren’t just one-trick-ponies” Nicola Edwards - Midlands Metalheads "These guys hit hard when they came onto their stage. THIS is what I meant by variety; whilst the vocals leaned on the extreme side again, the bands sound was unlike many of the prior acts. Ultra powerful roars atop riffs reminiscient of Volume 4 era Black Sabbath, very well placed tempo changes across tracks and enormous drum beats that kept getting bigger and bigger as the night went on. The further they entered their set, the darker this band got and it worked wonders for their contrast. In ‘I Hate God’, the guitarist began to display some serious technical ability with a scorching hot solo, ‘Dreaded Deed’ kicked off with a haunting bass line underneath the ambience and ‘Clocks’ had a gorgeous intro leading into some of their best riff work in the set. They definitely knew how to move between their tone whilst keeping their central idea known. And then… boxers… for another cover of ‘Gay Bar’. I gotta say this dude has balls. I can say this for two reasons. One, performing on stage to several people in your underwear is somewhat of a daunting task and two, you literally couldn’t NOT see them. These guys were ace." :-by Dan Moran Bands we played along side with :- DEF CON ONE , Reign of Fury , Empty Yard Experiment , Sa-da-kO , Ballsdeep , Black Light Machine , Black Ink Sun, XVII ,Betrayal Within The Ranks , As Empires Burn , ONE MORE VICTIM , We are Tyrants , Vengeful Atonement ,Seven Sided Dice ,KaiDekA Inside The Artist's Head, Structures , Peur , In Denial , In Dantés Eclipse , Silence the Weak ,Mispelt , Hung Drawn Quartered , Rise Of Athena , The Final Chapter , Pelugion , Lifer , Synapse , Scattering Ashes , Rising Struggle , A Born Disaster , As Empires Burn + HEADTrAP Stone The Alchemist , Ropewalk, Deformation of Man, GlassBullet ,For Love And Hate , KEEPER ,Elbow Deep, Gehtika , A Tower Of Crows, Edict Of Bedlam , White Noise Theory, Silent Jack , Defy All Reason, Salvation , GRIEVE , Malandra , Twisted Species , Valous ,Buzzard , I Cried Wolf , Left For-Red , Borderline Saints , Almost Easy , Hærken , Internal Conflict , Enemo-J , Evil Scarecrow, Demons Of Old Metal , East Of Arizona , Opheon, Sci-Mafia , Sheep On Drugs , More Beers , The Unknown Road, Monochrome State ,Octogoth ,Old Scratch ,Trivax , Kritical Charge , MorningStar , Beneath The Remains Festivals played :- Beermageddon 2015 Sophie Fest 2015 Lostock Music Festival 2015 Out Of The Ashes 2014 Basementfest 2014 https://twitter.com/CLITukband https://soundcloud.com/children-lost-in-time https://childrenlostintime.bandcamp.com/releases www.allheavy.net/children_lost_in_time Children Lost In Time is a Pure British Metal band from Nuneaton , UK
