Carl Wootton (Mr C) - Vocals History - First got into music business playing bass with originals band The Novelty Value, playing Indie/pop music . Moved from bass to vocals with ill-fated covers band Turtle Z. However, the band was tragically short lived. Answered an ad for a band called Nevada Smith. After a few changes of line-up, the now-titled Rock Bottom enjoyed lots of local success playing Classic Rock at small venues such as The Littleton, Walsall, The Nags Head, Nuneaton and even The original Robin Hood R 'n' B Club in Merry Hill. However, got restless again, so left Rock Bottom and joined a band based in the Hendesford region called Lakey. Again, it was classic rock on the menu, although this time it was mixed with a side order of grunge/punk and rock 'n' roll. Left Lakey to join newly-formed Whitesnake tribute Slip Of The Tongue in Spring 2005, and as the now titled Whitesnake UK, toured the UK. Helped form Absolute Thunder in 2009 again touring throughout the UK, along with covers band Rock Machine. Absolute Thunder split 2011 Currently a member of the bands ULTIMATE THUNDER, Rock Machine. (The Rocket - Terry Luckett - Lead Guitar and backing Vocals History - Playing in local bands throughout my teens, joined the original Rock Machine playing pro for 3 years toured Europe and Scandinavia 3 times plus support to Colin Bluntstone Argent, Slade amongst others. Since then played with numerous Midlands Rock Bands inc Rainbow Alley, own 3 piece blues trio Saloon plus recently Jaded which became Rock Machine. Formed Absolute Thunder in 2009 played throughout the UK in 2010. Re launch of ULTIMATE THUNDER August 2011 Also Member of Classic Rock outfit Legend Influences - Many but Guitarists who play from the heart Jeff Beck, early Clapton, Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Tom Scholz Gary Moore, to name a few. Gear - Guitars Variety of Gibson Les Pauls, Gibson Flying V. Amps Marshall Valve Heads and Marshall Cabs. Sennheiser Wireless Ian Byatt - Bass History - Picked up first Bass at 12, played in a couple of school bands. Progressed to a local band playing The Stones, Cream, R & B and Blues. Through the 80s played in several bands covering variety from U2 to Simple Minds etc. Next spent 10 years playing Country music. Joined rock covers band Elementum in 2008 and enjoyed success round the midlands and festivals. Elementum split in 2011. Joined ULTIMATE THUNDER 2011. Also a Member of Classic Rock outfit Legend Influences - Steve Harris, Jack Bruce, Geezer Butler. Gear - Guitars 2 Fender Precisions & a Musicman Bass. Amps Hartke 350 head, Harley Benton 500 head, 2x10 with horn 250 watt cab, 15inch speaker cab 250 watt. Alex Wall - Lead & Acoustic Guitars and Backing Vocals History - Played with various local bands over the past 15 years and formed Cornerstone as lead guitarist/vocalist in 2003 playing a potent mix of classic rock and blues in the local area. Spent over 2 years working as the resident sound engineer at the LA Rock Cafe, Cannock (R.I.P) resulting in a stint as guitarist with Deft Leppard (tribute) playing major venues throughout the UK and Ireland until the band split in 2011. I've filled in for a number of bands on the way - most notably Free at Last. Now playing with the re-vamped ULTIMATE THUNDER.
