The Runaway Houses Biography
The first runaway house was born long ago. The house grew legs and ran far, far away. It ran really awkwardly and quite slow. Nothing like a horse would run. Despite this it has remained elusive and still roams free. The Runaway Houses are a Sydney band named in honour of this majestic one storey dwelling. Starting life as a small acoustic trio The Runaway Houses looked to capture its spirit and spread its message. The Runaway Houses soon expanded to solidify their dreamy textures and upbeat grooves. To date, The Runaway Houses have been constantly writing, performing and crafting their own brand of relaxed indie pop supporting the likes of Nova and the Experience, Lunatics on Pogosticks and The Khanz.
