Yore

Yore began in 2012, when longtime friends and collaborators, Abby Livingston (Vocals, Guitar) and Jonny Riede (Vocals, Guitar), both founding members of The Cherry Tree Parade, began sending songs back and forth while Abby finished college in Texas. Once Abby graduated she relocated back to Kansas City and the two of them found themselves joined by Nick Talley (Drums), Kelli Kellington (Keys, Trumpet, Vocals), both formerly of Gentleman Savage, and Alex Leonard (Bass, Guitar). Since forming as a full group in early 2014 they have worked tirelessly refining their sound and releasing singles (mixed and co-produced by Mathieu Riede), to begin cultivating a following in Kansas City. They placed 2nd in the Deli KC’s reader’s poll for Best Emerging Artist of 2014 and were invited to play Ink’s Middle of the Map Festival 2015, before even playing their first show. With an EP release planned in 2015 and many more shows to come, you can expect to see and hear a lot more from them in the near future. Yore is a 3-piece band hailing from Kansas City.
