About this concert
On August 14-15, 2015 the Third Annual Jackson Rhythm & Blues Festival takes place at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum right on the out-skirts of downtown Jackson. This booming festival presents Mississippi’s Blues musicians coupled with regional and national Rhythm and Blues artists on a new scale with an urban flavor. The well-developed location allows Jackson the ability to offer 35 exciting acts performing on 5 stages 4 of which are in-door with air conditioning and transformed into urban juke joints. Food and drink vendors keep festival attendees happy and well fed with an abundance of Southern cuisine including Mississippi farm raised catfish, succulent barbeque ribs and chicken on a stick, along with signature festival alcoholic drinks, wine and beer. Truck Patch Revival Biography

A little history and meaning behind the new name!! The term 'Truck Patch' came about many years ago... A TP was produce of any type that farmers had an excess of. The grower would take the fresh variety of produce to "market". Brian's dad play in a Rock band back in the day call Truck Patch and now we are gonna bring the name back thus the Revival!! Being from the Mississippi Delta where it's pretty much all Farm land the name relates to where we live and the music we make!! Truck Patch Revival formerly the "The Frank Caswell Band", from the Delta Flat Lands, and home to the MS Blues, comprised of five talented musicians who have been playing an array of genres in multiple groups for several years now, they wanted to form a band that would represent their originality and unique style. In 2012 this is exactly what they did. Truck Patch Revival has traveled throughout the Southeast US entertaining crowds with original music and Country/Rock shows! Frank Caswell, Lead Vocals/Guitar/Songwriter, Frank was exposed to music very early in life. Being the youngest of four musically talented siblings it wasn't a surprise that Frank at the age of eight was playing guitar and singing in church. His true passion is songwriting, as Frank got older he began listening to some of the greatest Country and Rock N Roll Legends who he soon became influenced by, Frank soon began writing a very diverse style of music, both Country and Southern Rock. Frank now has written well over a hundred songs, along with his gift for writing he was blessed with a raw-soulful voice that draws people in. Brian Sherwood, lead guitar, Brian is a multi-talented musician; he plays many musical instruments and is also a very driven and talented singer/songwriter. Brian was only five years old when he started playing drums in church. By the time he was seven he was already taking road trips, traveling with bands to perform. As Brian got older he moved around a lot playing his music, this gave him opportunities to perform alongside of many great musicians. Brian was influenced by his family's passion for music. Donnie Marrs - Drums, Chad Gatewood - Pedal Steel Guitar Candace Garrett - Vocals, Born in Jackson, TN and raised in Yuma, TN Candace has a true passion for music and a powerful voice to back it up. competing in The Voice twice!
