Raina Mullen Biography
Philadelphia based chanteuse, Raina Mullen has been busy. Since graduating college in the spring of 2015 she has written and recorded her first EP titled “I Dare You”, joined progressive-Americana act, American Babies, and spent the rest of the year touring the nations top clubs, theaters, and festivals. As is evident throughout her EP, Ms. Mullen’s voice is a force. From the bruising hook of the title track to the intimacy of the folky “Calling”, Raina conjures the perfect mix of early Brandi Carlile and Feist. 2016 doesn’t look like things will be slowing down anytime soon. Raina will continue to tour the US as a solo artist, as well as with “American Babies” behind their fourth LP, “An Epic Battle Between Light and Dark” (March 2016 via Royal Potato Family, which Raina was a key contributor. In her time off of the road she will be finding her way back into the studio to begin work on her debut LP. 24, playing songs, singing loud, smiling till my cheeks hurt.
